I didn’t start here. Life brought me here.
A degree in Animal Science. Nearly two decades with dogs. And a front-row seat to what natural, root-cause healing can actually do — first in a person I love, then in the animals I’ve dedicated my life to.
Root-cause health for dogs.
Forever Canine exists for dog owners who want more than symptom management. More clarity. More strategy. More support for the whole dog.
When conventional answers stopped being enough.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and have spent nearly two decades raising, studying, and caring for dogs at every stage of life. But the path that led me here wasn’t just academic.
It started with dogs — with watching chronic health issues get managed instead of solved. With seeing animals prescribed drug after drug while nobody asked the obvious question: why is this happening in the first place?
And it deepened in the human realm. When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, we chose to pursue natural, integrative approaches alongside conventional care. What followed was one of the most intense periods of research, learning, and growth of my life — studying oncology, nutrition, immune function, detoxification, and the science of the body’s ability to heal when you stop fighting it and start supporting it.
He healed. And everything I learned along the way changed how I look at disease — in people and in dogs.
The principles are the same. Remove what burdens the body. Rebuild what’s been damaged. Support the terrain. Restore function. That framework works across species because it works with biology — not against it.
Forever Canine exists because dog owners deserve access to that same depth of thinking — organized, practical, and honest about what we know and what we don’t.
What I bring to this work.
B.S. Animal Science
Formal university education in animal physiology, nutrition, health, and biology — the scientific foundation everything else builds on.
18 Years Breeding Australian Shepherds
Nearly two decades of hands-on experience with breeding, whelping, puppy development, nutrition, and long-term wellness management.
Thousands of Hours of Independent Study
Canine nutrition, gut health, immune function, environmental toxins, longevity science, natural therapies, and integrative approaches to disease prevention.
Real-World Dog Experience
Working with dog owners navigating chronic itch, digestive issues, vaccine reactions, cancer diagnoses, autoimmune disorders, and age-related decline.
Human Health Research
Deep study into integrative oncology, natural cancer support, immune function, and detoxification — applied first-hand, then translated to canine health.
Informed by Leading Voices
Rita Hogan, Dr. Karen Becker, Dr. Peter Dobias, Dr. Gary Richter — integrated with primary literature and real-world experience.
I’m not a veterinarian. I sit in the space between formal animal science education and deep independent research — the same space most dog owners can’t access because nobody has organized it for them. That’s what Forever Canine does.
Four steps. One direction.
Every guide and protocol is built on the same biological foundation.
Remove
Reduce what burdens the body — processed food, toxic inputs, unnecessary chemicals, and daily inflammatory triggers.
Rebuild
Support the gut, liver, minerals, immune system, and nutritional foundation.
Support
Add targeted tools in the right order — herbs, mushrooms, red light, ozone, detox support, and lifestyle strategy.
Restore
Focus on function, resilience, energy, appetite, comfort, and quality of life.
Conventional care isn’t the enemy. Incomplete care is.
Terrain matters.
Cancer, itching, gut problems, and chronic disease do not happen in isolation. The body’s terrain matters — food, toxins, inflammation, gut health, immune function, and stress all matter.
Food is the first medicine.
Every meal is a signal. Clean food, clean water, and cleaner inputs can change the foundation faster than most owners realize.
Sequence matters.
The right thing in the wrong order can fail. Remove before you rebuild. Support before you push harder. Order is protocol.
Calm is part of the protocol.
